The Community Manager is responsible for  the day to day operation of the assigned community including marketing, leasing units, collecting rents, meeting the needs of tenants and consistent curb appeal through preventative and appropriate maintenance.  Ensure compliance with relevant government regulations, Housing Visions policies and procedures, priorities and values. Effectively communicate significant incidents, issues and or concerns to the Regional Property Manager.

Housing Visions is seeking a Superintendent to manage and direct the day-to-day activities of the construction project in Richmondville, New York. This is a full time, benefit eligible position with a Monday through Friday schedule. The project planning is set to begin November 2017. 

 

The Superintendent coordinates, manages and directs the day-to-day activities of assigned construction project. Ensures the construction project is being completed in a cost effective, safe and timely manner while adhering to established quality standards. Oversees field crew, and coordinates and supervises work of subcontractors and vendors. Responsible for daily inspections and safe and quality workmanship of crew and subcontractors at the job site. Assists with bidding, procurement and purchasing. Maintains records of daily construction operations, including daily logs, delivery/receiving and timesheets. Communicates in a positive and professional manner, interacts with design/development professionals, funding source representatives and government officials.

In a proactive fashion, ensures the units and buildings in the assigned region meet Housing Visions standards for integrity, quality through the oversight, sharing and completion of items in a safe manner such as work orders, turnovers, and projects.  In a timely manner, communicates significant incidents, issues and or concerns to the Property Manager. This position supervises a Maintenance Technician and any temporary maintenance employees assigned to properties.
