This is a full time, benefit eligible position. 


Reporting to the Director of Payroll & Administration, the Employment Administrator will provide quality human resource services to the organization to meet recruitment and retention goals.  Consults with supervisors and employees to resolve employee relations issues. Assists with training, development, safety functions and other human resource activities as directed. Provides assistance and coverage in the payroll and benefits area.  Serve as back up to the Executive Assistant in answering a multi-line phone in a professional and courteous manner and directing calls to the appropriate person.


  • Oversee day to day administration of the organization’s recruiting efforts by sourcing and screening applicants, coordinating interviews with hiring managers, and presenting offers.
  • Coordinates all recruitment posting and advertisements. Recommends and develops strategies to market company as an employer of choice.  Attends job fairs and events. Develops applicant pools through development and maintenance of positive relationships with schools and organizations.
  • Oversee day-to-day management of talent development to include hiring, motivating, training, developing, and performance evaluation.
  • Manage and assist with the development and delivery of all training and development curriculum for employees to meet professional and organizational needs.
  • Coordinates pre-employment testing and background checks.
  • Coordinates employee recognition program and employee celebration events. Produces and distributes employee newsletter in a timely fashion.
  • Ensures compliance with all applicable state and federal laws. Insures applicable Housing Visions policies and procedures are followed.
  • Electronically creates updates and maintains job descriptions for all positions.
  • Creates updates and maintains employee files and human resource area of computer database.
  • Collects, analyzes and presents data related to employment processes, policies and needs such as salary surveys, recruitment sources, and employee turnover rates in order to continually improve the employment process and experience at Housing Visions. 
  • Consults with supervisors and employees to investigate, recommend and resolve employee relations issues. 
  • Handle all legal matters surrounding employment and/or employee relations. Consults with supervisors and employees to investigate, recommend and resolve employee relations issues. Consults with legal counsel as appropriate, or as directed by the CEO, on employee matters.
  • Ensure company fulfills its obligations regarding funding sources workforce reporting, affirmative action plans and applicant tracking.
  • Provides assistance and serves as backup to payroll and benefit processing and administration.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Follow all the policies and procedures of Housing Visions and adhere to Housing Visions values of Quality, Responsibility, Integrity and Compassion.


  • Experience with construction, housing, or not for profit related industry preferred.
  • BA or BS in Human Resources Management or related field required. PHR, SPHR certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of human resources and or organizational development required. Combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Valid driver’s license with no major restrictions and acceptable to Housing Visions insurance carrier required.
